The ECAT EXACT HR+ gantry houses the PET detector assemblies and electronics, transmission sources and motion control system, in an efficient, compact design that reduces data transmission noise and increases system reliability. The unique gantry design eliminates the need for an electronics room and makes the most efficient use of vital floor space. Utilizing patented electronics and fiber-optic data communication, power consumption of the system is greatly reduced and system installation is simplified. The advanced gantry cooling system utilizes chilled water for maximum detector stability and ensures a quiet patient environment.
